Roku partners with DoorDash to give users six months of free DashPass and shoppable ads.
Roku has partnered with DoorDash to offer users in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico six months of complimentary DashPass and interactive shoppable ads for DoorDash businesses. Roku users can get $0 delivery fees on DoorDash orders and exclusive access to DashPass-only promotions and priority customer support. After the free trial period, DashPass costs $9.99 per month. DoorDash merchants can now buy interactive shoppable ads and place click-to-order offers within the ad. Restaurant advertisers can partner with the streaming company and the food delivery platform to target, measure, and attribute TV streaming ads on Roku. The partnership is brilliant for both companies as it unlocks DashPass benefits for Roku users and allows merchant partners to promote DoorDash offers through TV streaming. The block is similar to Roku’s partnership with Walmart, which allowed viewers to purchase Walmart items while streaming on Roku devices. Roku recently surpassed 70 million active accounts globally.
