DoorDash and ALDI to provide on-demand grocery delivery in the US
The grocery delivery service will be available from over 2,100 ALDI locations across 38 US states.
DoorDash has partnered with ALDI to provide on-demand grocery delivery services from more than 2,100 ALDI locations across 38 US states. Customers can order fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, bread, and household goods through DoorDash’s mobile app or website. The participating ALDI stores will be available on DoorDash’s DashPass, a membership program that offers free delivery from various restaurants and grocery and convenience stores. With its partnership with ALDI, DoorDash now provides more than 98% of its monthly consumers in the US access to a non-restaurant store on DoorDash.
The service has more than 100,000 non-restaurant stores across its Marketplace and Drive platforms across North America. Earlier this month, ALDI opened a regional headquarters and distribution center in Loxley, Alabama, which will support at least 100 stores across Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle.
