Mahindra Electric launches Zor Grand at Rs 360,000, targets last-mile cargo delivery
Mahindra Electric targets growing demand for premium, cost-efficient cargo delivery electric vehicles.
Mahindra Electric Mobility has launched its Zor Grand cargo electric three-wheeler, which already has more than 14,900 bookings from logistics companies, including Mahindra Logistics, Magenta EV Solutions, MoEVing, and EVnow. A 12 kW motor powers the vehicle and produces 50 Nm torque, while its lithium-ion battery can be charged in under four hours and has a range of more than 100 km. The Zor Grand comes with a five-year, 150,000 km battery warranty, a six-foot loading tray, and a 140/170 cu ft delivery box that opens on three sides for easy loading and unloading. According to the company, the vehicle’s ownership costs can be up to INR600,000 ($8,240) cheaper over five years than a diesel-engined cargo three-wheeler.
