Woworks Expands its Ghost Kitchen Footprint with New Prototype in San Francisco
Woworks has announced the launch of a new prototype, “Wow Kitchens,” within a Cloud Kitchens facility in San Francisco. This ghost kitchen platform will feature a curated selection of menu items from Woworks’ six fast-casual brands and seven virtual concepts. The initiative aims to offer more opportunities for franchisees and attract new operators keen on shared kitchen models. To optimize this prototype, Woworks thoroughly analyzed its top-selling items and identified ingredients that could be utilized across its brands. The company also enhanced operations by optimizing equipment usage. Kelly Roddy, the CEO of Woworks, highlighted the cost-effectiveness of the Wow Kitchens model, emphasizing its reduced overhead costs due to the absence of seating areas and minimized back-of-the-house expenses. The menu items will be available for pickup and delivery, and Woworks has also collaborated with Otter to offer operators a unified digital ordering platform.
