Getir speeds up market consolidation with Gorillas deal

Both Getir and Gorillas are quick commerce companies operating in the space of on-demand delivery of groceries and other goods. According to the information provided, Getir is more successful in Turkey, where it is based, while Gorillas is a significant player in Germany.
There are also other consolidators in the market, such as Flink, a Berlin-based company, and GoPuff, a Philadelphia-based company that operates in the United States and Europe. Flink has partnerships with major supermarkets, which has helped it to thrive, while GoPuff has a strong presence in the US market. It is mentioned that a dark store hub, a type of fulfillment center not open to the public and used to fulfill online orders, becomes profitable at around 500-1,000 orders per day.
